Ok so promotions ranks and titles all can get pretty confusing in my opinion. So heres a question. Lets say I have my registered users group and I create a premium users group. I have ranks/titles setup for both. But I don't have a promotion setup at all for premium, its more or less a paid subscription group or add users manually group.
Lets say I give userA (registered users - primary group) an additional group of "premum users" So now hes apart of registeered users (primary) and premium (secondary)
Theres a promotion I setup for registered users when they reach 25 posts to get moved into "beginners members"
So heres my question... if userA's primary group is registered users, but his secondary is "premium members" which is the highest group you can get, feature wise. When the user hits 25 posts, will the promotion still move his usergroup to "beginners members" ?
I'm guessing his title/rank wont change as long as the display group is "premium" right? So confusing
Also, think about this. Which usergroup takes precedence permission wise? If reigistered users was limited like, cant view others threads, or cant vote in polls, but his secondary had all that, which would win?
