Children and elderly women react at a neighbors home after being rescued from inside their house by protesters after tear-gas was fired inside it in Maamer village, south east of Manama, Bahrain, 05 February 2012. Clashes erupted between pro-reform protesters and police after riot police tried to break-up a march marking the final day of mourning for Abdu-Ali Abdullah, who according to family and activists, died in hospital after being admitted on 26 January 2012 as a result of being exposed to large amounts of tear-gas fired at his home. Tension continues to rise in the small Gulf island ahead of the first anniversary for the pro-reform protests on 14 February 2012.
