Al Wefaq welcomes the calls supporting democratic transformation in Bahrain

Al Wefaq has called for the international community participation to help Bahrain transform towards a democratic change in a real way because it is for the better interests of all and to keep stability which the opposition is in favor of affirming that it only can be attained through real reform.

Al Wefaq has expressed its complete readiness to any dialogue to-be that would save Bahrain and the whole region from political stalemate demanding at the same time the international supervision for any regime-led political plan. It said that the international community has to intervene to prevent those people whose rights are violated by tyrant regimes and do not allow them to utilize the killing and suppression means nor allow them to escape punishment or from being held accountable. The international community has to help in putting the seeds of democratic systems which realize true partnerships and melting of societies and ethnicities and show due respect for the universal human rights as per international standards.

Wrapping up its statement, Al Wefaq said that both the Bahraini opposition and the Bahraini people are very determined not to take any step back and are moving towards a real political reform to have an equal share of running their state affairs.
