بيان الرياضيين البحريينين

نطالب بمحاكمة فواز ونطلب منهم الاعتذار الرسمي.
ندعوا اخواننا الرياضيين الامتناع عن تمثيل المنتخبات الرياضية حتى يرد اعتبارنا.

استنكر العديد من الرياضيين ماتعرض له مجموعة كبيرة من الرياضيين البحرينين الذين ساهموا في تمثيل اللمكلة خير تمثيل في المحافل الخارجية من انتهاكات صريحة على يد مرتزقة النظام في مملكة البحرين حينما زج بهم في السجون لمدة تزيد عن الثلاثة اشهر.

و قد عبر الرياضيون عن استيائهم العميق بسبب ما حدث لكوكبة من الرياضيين المميزين من تعذيب واعتقال غير مبرر لمشاركتهم في مسيرة الرياضيين التي خرجت مطالبة باصلاحات رياضية لما يعيشه الوسط الرياضي بمملكة البحرين من فساد إداري وتميز بين الرياضيين محملين المسؤولية المباشرة لفواز بن محمد آل خليفة رئيس هيئة شئون الإعلام الذي قام مع مدير القناة الرياضية عبدالعزيز الإشراف بالتشهير ومحاكمة الرياضيين إعلامياً في سابقة خطيرة لم تشهدها أي من دول المنطقة.
وطالب الرياضيون بمحاسبة المدعو فواز بن محمد وكل من مدير القناة الرياضية عبدالعزيز الإشراف، المذيع فايز السادة، والاعلاميين ماجد سلطان،فيصل الشيخ، عبدالله بونفل،فهد فؤاد اضافة الى الجلاد خليفة بن احمد ال خليفة الذي تولى قضية الرياضيين حيث قام مع حلاوزته بتعذيب الرياضيين ابشع أنواع التعذيب حتى وصل المر للتحرش الجنسي لبعظهم، حيث زج باكثر من سبعين رياضياً من مختلف الالعاب من مدربين ولاعبين وحكام وصحفيين واداريين ولم يسلم من بطشهم المعاقين ولولا تدخل الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم "الفيفا" لاستمر بقائهم في تلك الزانزين التي تفتقد لابسط مقومات وحقوق سجناء الراي.
وبعد معاناة دامت لكثر من ثلاثة اشهر في تلك السجون والتي أدت إلى العديد من الخسائر على المستوى المعيشي والاجتماعيي والاسري تم الافراج عن الرياضيين دون ان توجه لهم تهم صريحة بل كانت التهم واهية تفتقد للدليل وربما البعض اعترف بسبب التعذيب الوحشي الامر الذي وصل الى ادخال بعضهم المستشفى العسكري بسبب تدهور اوضاعهم الصحية.
لذا نعلنها نحن الرياضيون مدوية بأنن لن نقبل بعودة الحياة الرياضية إلى وضعها الطبيعي إلا بعد أن يقدم لنا إعتذار رسمي بقناة البحرين الرياضية من قبل فواز بن محمد الذي لم تشفع له زيارته للرياضيين بمركز شرطة الحورة لأنها جاءت متأخرة ومخالفة للقوانيين ولدراية الرياضيين بأن جاء للتشفي منهم وهم بداخل المعتقل، ونطالب بمحاكم فواز بن محمد وفريق عمله وكذلك المقدم خليفة بن أحمد مدير أمن المحافظة الجنوبية.
وأخيراً ندعوا أخواننا الرياضيين الذين لم يمسهم شر الحكومة الغاشمة الاضراب الرياضي وعدم قبول تمثيل المنتخبات الوطنية حتى يرد الاعتبار لزملائهم الذين لاقوا اصناف التعذيب الوحشي وخسروا وظائفهم والبعض منهم هاجر لاستراليا كنجم المنتخب الوطني لكرة القدم السيد محمد عدنان كلاجئ سياسي بعد ان تم اعتقال والده لكي يسلم نفسه، علما بان الاتحادات الرياضية طلبت أول أمس الخميس وعبر الاتصالات الهاتفية من الاندية بتسجيل اللاعبين الموقوفين بشكل اعتيادي حتى لايتبين انه تم توقيف الرياضيين بامر من اللجنة الاولمبية أو الاتحادات الرياضية، وخصوصا أنهم بحاجة للرياضيين لكي يتبجحوا بانجازاتهم حينما أوصلهم الفتى الذهبي علاء حبيل لنيل المركز الرابع، والبطل طارق الفرساني صاحب الالقاب الاسيوية والولمبية في لعبة بناء الأجسام وغيرهم ممن لاقى الويلات من سياط الجلادين.

A statement from Bahrain athletes
We demand the trial of Fawaz and ask them for a formal apology.
We call upon our fellow athletes to refrain from representing the sports teams until we are justified.

Many athletes denounced what a large group of Bahraini athletes, who have contributed with good representation of the Kingdom in various competitions, suffered at the hands of the authorities' mercenaries in the Kingdom of Bahrain as they were thrown into prison for more than three months.
A lot of these athletes expressed their deep dissatisfaction for the arrest and torture of a group of distinguished fellow athletes for their participation in the march of the athletes which came out demanding for sports reforms in the Kingdom due to the administrative corruption and the discrimination between athletes pointing the direct responsibility to Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the Media Affairs Organization, along with the sports channel director Abdulaziz Al Ashraf who both offended and trialed athletes in media in what was a dangerous precedent that was not seen in any of the countries in the region.
The athletes asked to trial the so-called Fawaz bin Mohammed and the director of the Sports Channel Abdulaziz Al Ashraf, the presenter Fayez Al Sadda and media personnel Majid Sultan, Faisal Al Sheikh, Abdullah Bunofal and Fahad Fouad in addition to the executioner Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, who was responsible of the athletes case and he tortured them along with his henchmen in the ugliest forms of torture until he reached to sexual harassment for some of them. He also jailed more than seventy athletes from different games from the coaches, players, referees, journalists and administrators in addition to disable athletes and if it weren't for the intervention of FIFA, those athletes would have been still in the prisons that lack the most basic elements of jails and the rights of prisoners.
And after the suffering which lasted for more than three months in the prisons, which led to many losses in the living, social and familial situation of these athletes, they were released without being charged with clear chargers but it were flimsy charges and lacked evidence and perhaps some of the athletes gave confession because of brutal torture, which eventually led them to be admitted to the military hospital because of their deteriorating health conditions.

Therefore, we athletes called it loud and clear that we will not accept the return of sport to its normal status until we receive a public apology in Bahrain sports channel by Fawaz bin Mohammed, who cannot be excused for the visit he made to the athletes at the Hoora police station because it came late and it violated the law while the athletes knew that he came to disgrace them while they were in prison. We also call for to trial Fawaz bin Mohammed and his team, as well as the colonel Khalifa bin Ahmed, the Director of security in the Southern governorate.
Finally we call upon our fellow athletes who were not tortured by the evil government to a sports strike and not to accept the representation of national teams, until their colleagues receive a descent apology after they were brutally tortured and lost their jobs and some of them even emigrated to Australia like the football national team player, Seyed Mohamed Adnan who asked for a political asylum after his father was arrested in order to put pressure on him to turn himself in. Also, the sports federations asked on Thursday by calling the clubs to register the arrested players on a regular basis so that it will not look like the athletes were arrested through orders from Olympic Committee or the sports federations, especially that they need the athletes to brag with their accomplishments like when golden boy Ala'a Hubail led them to finish fourth in the Asian Cup in addition to the Asian and Olympic achievements of the hero Tariq Al Fursani in body building and many others who suffered the whips of the executioners
