Creating Archives

Hello.

I got a question. I just want to know if I can use multiple databases in 4.0 under one license?

We are currently running 3.8.4 and some of the members really like 4.0 so I obviously am going to but it would be nice if I was able to archive posts into a separate database that can still be indexed for searches. I know a while ago there was talk of adding this feature into 4.0.

Also if possible to use my then old 3.8.4 license for the archive but use new 4.0 license which I will purchase to run main forums?
