CMS CMS Sections???

My site is section based and I am trying to use CMS and can't understand the best way to go about it so any help is greatly appreciated...

For example say my site's menu is:
Home - Trains - Planes - Automobiles - Forums

The Home page is vbAdvanced
Trains, Planes and Automobiles are all separate sections and require their own CMS page
Each of the Trains etc sections have sub sections like Electric Trains, Diesel Trains etc that have articles in each one

What I am trying to get is that if a user goes to Trains there are no references to Planes or Automobles anywhere, like in a section menu or even in the breadcrumb that will simply say Home -> Trains (Home is the site vbA page).

I can't seem to make the root of the CMS invisible and just run as separate sections like:
root (hide)
Trains (The only thing seen in the Trains section from the site menu - breadcrumb Home -> Trains)
Electric

Diesel

Planes (The only thing seen in the Planes section from the site menu - breadcrumb Home -> Planes)
Boeing

Airbus

Cars - etc (The only thing seen in the cars section from the site menu - breadcrumb Home -> Cars)
