I run an association forum which currently manually collects subscription dues. With the built-in subscription capabilities of vBulletin, we'd like to start doing this through the forum software. The only caveat is we currently have a static time frame of a calendar year. It would be useful if vBulletin would allow a static data range, and possibly some pro-rating for subscriptions. For example: * Annual Membership Runs: Jan 1 through Dec 31 Fee: $30 USD Pro-Rate: $2.50 per FULL calendar month. User signs up any time in January, they pay $30. February, they pay $27.50, etc etc. If pro-rating could be configured as XXXX per YY . Second thought is to require a subscription be dependent upon another subscription. Our use-case is as follows: In our association, we have individuals and clubs which contain individuals. All individuals pay a membership fee. Those without a club pay $30, those within a club pay $20. The catch is that the club must pay it's own annual fee of $500. We would like to be able to tie that club subscription to a user group and when that individual tries to pay for their own subscription, they need to select which club they belong to, and must be a member of that user group. The idea being the club president would add them to the group. That individual should not be allowed to pay for the membership unless the club is current and paid. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__ |
