<div>Upgrading test site to 4.0.5 I am upgrading over the internet to a server located at my ISP Pretty fast connection (faster than typical cable connection) In test site Fresh install of version 3.8.6 Then-- deleted all tables in test database-left over from previous test installation Exported database from live 3.8.6 installation and imported into test installation Then upgraded to 4.0.5 During upgrade I received database errors (see at bottom of this post) However, when I received errors I would refresh browser and eventually I got to the end of the installation. Before I try this on the live installation I need to know if this is OK. Is using refresh on the browser to get past the database errors going to cause me problems with my live database in the future? Before I ran the upgrade script to upgrade to 4.0.5 I did the following: Deleted all but the default style in the 3.8.6 version Reverted all templates. Added this to the config file-- __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__ |
