Forum New to vBulletin....creating test site.

Hello, and thanks for any help in advance.

I am new to vBulletin, and ready to start changing my site around a bit. I have been trying to set up a test site, following THESE (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...-your-live-one) instructions with no luck.

I got to step 3 and was hosed up, but then realized godaddy (my host) will let me make a backup.sql file from their control panel.

That brings me to step 6. I have tried using godadds FTP tool, godaddys file manager, and FileZilla with no luck in copying the forum directory. It will let me copy one file at a time, but not the hold folder.

I already have the new SQL database created, and that brings me to step 8. I absolutely cannot get this to work, no matter how many different ways I try to list the directory. Every time I try, it says it cannot be found. I ran into the same problem with step 3 but was able to back up the file usings godaddy so I bypassed the step.

Any advice on how to proceed?
