I know this is the wrong forum, but because I'm not the actual customer here I can't seem to post in the relevant forums. I have the client's ID number, but not his forum password. I am a support tech at the hosting company for a vBulletin client. This client is trying to upgrade from an old non-cPanel hosting account to one of our new cPanel Cloud accounts. We are trying to perform this migration, but have come across some difficulties. The primary problem is that it is impossible to get into the admincp. When we put in the login credentials, it redirects to the main forum login page. I have read numerous posts that say the problem is cookies; I have reset the cookies using tools.php. However, they were already set to "blank" and "/" so that didn't do anything. I have also disabled plugins by adding define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true); to the config.php file. Currently we access the new site using the IP address of the server rather than the domain. Could that be the problem? If so, how can we temporarily access the admincp using the IP address? I also can't help but wonder if a small thing that I've noticed is the real problem. When I hit the login button, before anything else loads the password field is blanked out. So it seems that perhaps the password actually isn't being sent? Any ideas? Thanks! __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__ |
