Forum Database Password Change - Been Hacked

I have been hacked yesterday. the database tables to my CMS page was missing today. i want to change the password to my database that runs my vb. If I change the password what files do i make the adjustments so that the forum will run properly?

I had a admin that used to be on the site had threatened to hack the site and low and behold the site was hacked. Luckily i have it backed up regularly. i want to start by changing the passord to the database then strenthening my security.

Sorry if this was asked before i search the topic and read through alot but still did not find what i was looking for. Agian sorry if this is a duplicate. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
