CMS Attaching Articles to a menu

Hi All,

I want to create an article and link to it from a menu without it having to go to the category page first. Any ideas?

At the moment all articles have to be associated to either a section or category. Then the user selects the section/category widget menu system and is taken to a parent page where they have to select the article.

I ideally want to be able to link directly to any article from the menu.
