Forum Moving forums- 4.0.5 to 4.0.5. New domain....

Here is the situation-

We run the site OK-SPEED.NET and it's running VB 4.0.5.

We have recently decided to change directions(away from automotive) and move the forums from the above web address to a new domain (same server and host)- wtfokc.com.

However, instead of starting from scratch- and losing 5 years of content- we are wanting to keep the current database. We would like a "fresh" install of the VBsoftware though(no hacks, mods, tables that are associated to the previous mods etc). Since we have been going for 5 years with vb the entire time, we have had NUMEROUS hacks and such installed that were lost in upgrades and since been abandoned in the db.

Our major question, how do we keep content but not all the trash? Is this possible? We are really wanting to keep members and thier info (pot count, profiles, etc), the structure of the forum, and of course the post content (with attachments). The CMS side of OKS isnt that big of deal, it can be recreated or lost. There was however some posts promoted to articles. We'd like to keep the "default CMS setup" that was pre-installed so we can edit that and not lose widgets etc.

The current DB we are running is roughly 400MB so its hard to import that badboy back into phpMyAdmin on the new setup. I was going to use ImPex but after I got it installed and setup- realized it will not export out of vb4.0.5.

We are really wanting to go live with our new site ASAP, please- can anyone give me some suggestions?

Once we get the wtfokc forums on-line and synced up we are going to shutdown OKS permanently. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
