CMS Attachments missing after upgrade to 4.0.4

I upgraded from 4.0.2 to 4.0.4 and most of my image attachments are now missing. Where thumbnails were previously are now "Attachment 457" and clicking that says "Invalid Attachment". Opening the asset manager displays about 10 of the original 75 or so attachments. I checked that display images inline is still checked in admincp.

In admincp under Attachments, the items are still listed. Click on those also displays "Invalid Attachment Specified" I rebuilt thumbs under maintenance and it processed them as if they existed?

Ideas are very welcome.

And - Attachments are being stored in the database. Maybe I'll try moving them to the file system and see what happens. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
