Forum Signature position in first post

There was an issue with the first post of threads where the signature would not begin after the post content ended, but rather it would start at the end of space reserved for the ad box on the right side.

The recommended fix was to add the following code to additionalcss

/* move up signature */
.postbitlegacy .after_content {
clear:none; }

This works fine - and I notice it wasn't changed in the 4.0.4 upgrade - but the horizontal line above the signature extends into the area reserved for the ad box, bisecting any ad you have there.

Is there a way to shorten this line?

And second... with this css in place, when you view the page using "Compatibility view" - the content of the first post actually starts below the avatar and user info. Not that people will be viewing the page in compatibility view usually, but I thought that was worth pointing out. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
