Search Please Bring Back Vbulletin Internal Search

vb4 only allows mysql full text searching which has a default of 4 characters as the limit.

Many of us on vbulletin do not have the ability to modify this setting in the my.cnf file and hence, are stuck with 4 characters.

Is there a way to bring back vbulletin internal searching as was the case with vb3 and let users have a choice on which to use?

It also doesn't quite gel that there are options in the AdminCP referring to about vbulletin internal searches when vbulletin internal search is rendered inoperative; users will set these settings thinking they work, when they do not. Case in point, the minimum search length. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
