Forum question about sorting by thread rating (like the Suggestion forum here claims to do)

The sticky states that the forum uses the Thread Rating sort but it seems to still be Last Post Time. I skimmed the first two pages of that forum and it seems that the threads are ordered chronologically.

I must not be understanding how sorting by thread rating works? I wanted to start using this feature for the suggestions forum at my own site. Is the Suggestions forum here actually using that sorting method and I'm just not seeing how it works? Thanks for any clarification you can provide. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
