| It's such an obvious question, I am 100% sure it's been done and answered and I just can't figure out the appropriate search term. Seems like 99% of the questions concerning styling are "How do I..." and "Where do I..." and "what is it called?..." Can someone show me a software app or a pdf or a post that shows the vbulletin default layout and descriptors for the variables? I mean really, what criminally insane, sadistic individual(s) came up with the stylevar nomenclature? Who cudda thunk that the Logo was called "titleimage" Huh? How about logo? How about header? How about website name picture? I digress... Are there available screen shots of vbulletin with little arrows pointing to things saying their variable names? You know, so we could at least use the search in the stylevar window? Because trying to guess what the criminally sadistic programmer decided to use as a variable name has driven me to drink. Or better yet, a real time software solution. I tried using firebug that allows me to point at an element on the page and it gives me the html, but I don't see the variable names being called. Surely, it can't be too hard for a "style" hack that gives a popup "alt like" tab for the element name when a cursor is hovering over it, could it? Throw me a bone people. This trial and error change the stylevar element and then see what happens is driving me insane. Heck, half the changes I make, nothing happens, so I have to revert back the original lest I start to pile up unintended consequences. And could someone Please tell me what the little down element beside the notifications element in the header is called, and where else it is used? Cause it sure isn't in the stylevar for the header, and I've trial and errored all possible variables for that one, and it never changed color. Thanks __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__ |
