Users "Cool Off" function - User able to ban self for 24 hours (yes it may sound silly)

I have users that sometimes get into crazy heated arguments with each other, and they ask me to ban them for 24 hours so they can 'cool off'. They said they can't stop themselves from coming back and posting and arguing again and again on a hot thread, and they want me to help them 'cool off'.

So it would be useful if there was a way they could set themselves to 'banned' for a 24 hour period, so they can do their own 'cool off' when they get too worked up over an argument. Would probably also be helpful if it could be set for various periods, like 24 hours, 48 hours, a week, etc, for if they wanted to force themselves to take a break for a few days. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
