Forum Registered users disappear

When i check the stats at the bottom of my forum i see that i have 7,688 Members.
When i check a Forum stats widget on my CMS i see i have 7,956 members.

I could be that I reset the counters, but I don't think that I removed 268 members since the last time I reset the counters. So I was thinking..

Are the users in the Banned group counted towards the total member count?

I am kinda confused whats happened to these missing members.

Anyone got some ideas? __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
