Hi. I would greatly appreciate some advice please.

When trying to access my blog logged into my forum I get the following error message in the middle of the screen:

Quote:
vBulletin Message
To use this product the plugin system must be enabled.

My Attempted failed measures to fix!:
--------------------------
I checked the Plugin system is enabled using AdminCP/Settings/Option/Plugin/Hook system
It is enabled. Yet the blog does not work.

Possible linked errors?:
--------------------------
1) Once logged into AdminCP and looking at Control Panel options, I chose Vbulletin Blog
All sub-menus of the Blog are dead and lead to a white screen: e.g. Categories, Category Permissions, Entries, Featured Entries, Moderators, Statistics, Update Counters....

2) Once logged into AdminCP I get this message in XML Sitemap Manager:

Quote:
The directory the sitemap files are to be written into is not writeable. Please change the permissions on the path to be writeable by the web server or enter a different path in the sitemap options.

Newbie observation:
-------------------
In my XML Sitemap the 'Sitemap File Path' is empty.

Looking at the manual: http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/options_xml_sitemap
Regarding Sitemap file path it says........

Quote:
''Sitemap File Path: XML sitemap data must be written to the filesystem to function. Enter the full path to the directory the files should be written to. Do not include a trailing slash. This directory must be writable by the webserver. It also must be accessible via a web browser. Default Value: ''

Please can someone tell me what to do next, if the white box in Sitemap file path in AdminCP
cannot be left blank? Would I have to ask my ISP what it is maybe? My blog worked before in 4.0.2 without putting any information into Sitemap File Path.

Would this make my vanished blog, re-appear maybe?

Thanks in advance for any clues to the mystery.
