Forum is there a more efficient way of adding custom code to custom profile fields?

I'm working on getting a text RPG up on the forums and I want to add a custom field to display the user's RPG team. I wanted to be able to allow the mods to specify which image to use and to be able to change the title attribute but it seems like HTML and BBCode aren't allowed in custom profile fields.

So I got Parse BBCode for Custom User Profile Fields which allows me to create custom bbcode but that means I have to create individual bbcodes for each Pokemon and that won't allow me to let them specify which image to use to denote which pokeball it was caught in.

I was wondering if there's a more efficient way of doing this? With the method above, I will need to create 507 bbcode tags for use and will be limited to one universal image. Hopefully someone knows a better way! Thanks for reading.
