Well I am currently taking the XML course at my collage and were currently in SOAP and RSS feeds and web services. I think a SOAP server for VB 4 would help with other software using the login system. Basically it would except username, and password as the params to be checked but would not be limited to this it may also include the ability to check recent private messages etc... The one major problem all Vbulletin software have is the ability to integrate with other software. Say for example Joomla or Gallery there is no one solution for it. I know vbulletin has come out with its own CMS but its limited and lacks features other solutions have. This way it would be easier to integrate logins if it only needs to use a simple server based solution. It is not also limited to web apps if this were to happen a desktop widget could be made so users can sign in a view there messages or even a mobile app if VB had a soap server the possibilities to use it would be numerous.
