Forum Can I remove register.php and still create members?

I'm thinking of bringing up a new site with my forum license, and have decided that the best way to deal with spammers is to simply not allow anyone to register directly into the site. I'm happy to take on the responsibility for going into the admin panel and hand "creating" each individual profile from scratch, in order to ensure that the only people who register are people I approve. This way bots cannot even waste time/bandwidth/database space on the forum.

I just want to make sure before I delete "register.php" that I'll still be able to (in the admin control panel) add a new member. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
