Forum Users randomly not able to login since 4.0.2 PL4

I have had 5 reports of users login details stop working for absolutely no apparently reason since updating to PL4 yesterday, and even after patching a new user has had the same problem on 2 accounts, I have manually set his password and attempt to login and it is stating that the details are incorrect when this is not the case, help please? __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
