Forum Getting the Intro text longer on The Front Page.

Please accept my sincere apologies for being such a newbie, but we all start someplace... and I'm stuck.

I just installed 4.x, and have never used vB before. I posted an article as a test to "The Front Page" and notice the text is cut-off much shorter than the sample article that came with the package.
