I have the email address for my website set under options to be [email protected]. However, when anyone uses the 'contact us' link the automated response (thankyou for contacting us, someone will be back to you yadda yadda) comes back from [email protected]. Furthermore, any emails sent via the contact us link are being lost they are not going to either the admin or administrator email accounts. So where are they going? Is there something else I need to be configuring?
I have done a quick search for the string [email protected] in the styles and templates but have turned nothing up. A search on just the word 'administrator' gives me a lot to wade through. Somebody please point me in the right direction here? Do I need to be configuring the mail servers in the sendmail.php and where is the auto-repsonder getting it's email address from if not from the default location under the options settings?
I have to say, after more than three months of using VB4 my patience is wearing just a wee bit thin. There are far too many features that just do not work and too many of these are basic features. I just seem to be working too hard to resolve issues that should not be in the final release in the first place!
