CMS sitemap problems

when i manually rebuild the sitemap then go to look at it in the click here to veiw the file link

I get a 404 error, because it doesn't exist, then i go to the place that the file is built. And thats going to be /xml/sitemap.xml But its not there its named something else

The sitemap will be accessed by search engines via this URL.

I have a file called /xml/ it has the permissions and it is creating sitemaps but they are named something way different "vbulletin_sitemap_thread_1_56.xml.gz" I understand its a zip file , but the name is nothing like the name the admincp is building and or showing the robots what to look for, so of course it cant be found it doesn't exist.

What i want to know is how do i actually get my sitemaps named what the admincp is saying they are supposed to be named ?

I'm really tired of fighting this, do i need a support ticket or is this in the settings somewhere? __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
