Forum Wasted space in social group photos

Prior to upgrading to 4.0.2, the photos uploaded by members in my forum's social groups were displayed at the top of the group discussion page, in (if I recall correctly) a condensed 2 row x 4 column format. After the upgrade, however, each of the eight latest photos are shown in what appears to be a single column with a massive amount of blank space below them, as seen in the screenshot (the amount of blank space actually extends down another half screen before the next photo appears).

Is this a simple fix?
