Good morning Ladies and Gentlemen, About 3 months ago, I changed the paypal account into which my Vbulletin subscriptions were paid. I have not made any amendments to my Vbulletin software, all I did was swap my email accounts around at Paypals end. (Ie I own (email address) account A, my wife owns (email address) account B - all I did was swap the email addresses, so she now owns A, and I own B.) So logically, following the changes, any payments traditionally destined for me will now be received by her So, given that nothing has changed with VB, all payments should continue to land in account A, which of course is now my wife's account. (With me so far?) Yet I continue to receive funds into my account ie B. All brand new subscriptions are handled absolutely correctly and the money is landing in her account as intended, however subscription renewals, ie pre-existing (legacy) subscriptions are not, they continue to land in my account, despite there having been no changes to the VB software. (ie Vbulletin should be sending it to her account) VB is continuing to send the subscription renewal payments to the traditional Paypal account, regardless of what the email address is. Indeed the Paypal transaction statement on these subscription payments refers to an email address, which VB does not have! So either VB is using something other than the email parameter to address the subscription payment, (unique account identifier) or Paypal are playing silly buggers. Any wisdom greatly appreciated - but I think I probably know the answer! I truly hope I haven't given anyone my headache in trying to explain that. Best wishes Craig Davies __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__ |
