Upload of File Failed - Used to Work, No Longer Does

So I have not many any changes to VB or my site in the last few weeks, but as of yesterday users are having trouble uploading ANY attachements. Whether it's to the photo albums or the forums. And the file size is not the issue either, even a little gif won't load.

I called my host and they say that it isn't their fault. Any clues? The note that comes up is simply "Upload of File Failed". I tried changing from Imagick to GD incase that had something to do with it, and made sure the folders were CHMOD 777 as they always have been. The site has almost 50,000 attachments!

I tried the test in the admin and came up with this:

upload_tmp_dir:/tmp
upload_max_filesize:8.00 MB

Results No file uploaded and no local file found. The test cannot continue

Any help or suggestions? I have a feeling it's a hosting problem but unless I can say what's wrong they won't be too much help.. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
