Forum Quick reply box malfunction in IE

Hi,

a few days ago I upgraded my forum from vb 3.8.4 to 4.0.1. I didn't crash the database while upgrading and that was a relief . The forum works however there are some bugs in the appearance. The main issue that I'm trying to resolve is a strange behavior of the quick reply box. When a forum member hits the reply button the quick reply box appears not where it should but it launches to the right and this creates a horizontal scroll bar. I tested it with vb 4 default style. I have vista. This glitch does not occur in firefox, it happens in ie. I had ie 7, I upgraded to ie 8 but it didn't make a difference. VB released 4.0.2, i upgraded, the issue is still there. This glitch occurs intermittently. I am attaching a picture to show what I'm talking about. Please help me fix this issue.
