Hello, I am hoping someone can help me out.

A while ago I set up Usergroup Promotions as a way of controlling spammers. So far, this has worked. The idea was simple, and I think I got it from here so I am sure you're familiar with this process:
  1. All new users are placed in a Usergroup, ours is 'Registered Members'.
  2. Everyone in this user group must have their first post approved before its public.
    • This allows us to control human users vs. bots when posting publicly.
  3. A promotion was setup which is to move any user with a post count of 1 or greater to a different, open Usergroup (read: users can post/user the site as intended). This one is called 'Community Members'.
So far, this has worked great with all new members who are registering to the site. The admin team checks a few times a day for posts waiting for moderation and approves them if they're human, or ban's them if their spammers. It's simple, it works, and we like the process. There is, however, a problem...

EDIT: I just hit 'Post' by mistake so this post stops short. Allow me to continue the post before commenting. I'll remove this Edit note when I'm finished. Thank you!
