Threads thread post icon problems

So I have custom icons, and they are in the proper folder example.
.../forum/images/icons/iconarticle.png

It shows up properly in the WYSIWYG editor, but when the thread is posted the icon is
.../forum/images/icons/icon1.gif

What is going on? It's putting the default vbulletin icons in the thread, it doesn't make sense. Please help. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
