I am in the process of building an online interactive learning environment. I know that I will need forum software to host discussions and I really like what vBulletin has to offer. I especially like the social media features like member pages, friends lists, and private messaging, among others.
I want to combine vBulletin with a CMS solution that includes blogging, Moodle, and aMember, so that I can control access to paid content areas within my overall site. Some areas of the site would be available to anyone, whether logged in or not ... other areas would only be available to logged in users who had paid for a certain class, and only certain logged in users would be allowed to blog. Can I use aMember together with the vBulletin CMS version to accomplish this? My current plan is to use WordPress, aMember, Moodle, and vBulletin ... but if I can simplify the number of different software platforms, that would be nice.
