Paid subscription question

Hi there,

I have two questions about paid subscriptions.

Background:
I used to use the Cyb - Paypal Donate hack, but the re-occurring subscription didn't work, so I have decided to go back to vB's Paid Subscription component.

In the past, when a user made a donation they system added the additional VIP usergroup, but also set that as the display usergroup, so that the username is changes colour. I see that vB doesn't change the display group and therefore change the username colour automatically.

I know that if I make it change the primary usergroup it will change the display, which is fine. I'm happy to change it around to that.

Q1. What group will the user revert to when the subscription ends? If the default registration group, will my promotions kick in and promote immediately if they qualify?

Q2. Can someone tell me what notifications are sent to the user when they donate? It doesn't say in the instructions. I presume:

- Thank you for your subscription (at time of payment)??
- Reminder subscription ending (close to end time of subscription)??
- Notification of auto renew (if re-occuring subscription is enabled)??

Is that right??
