So OK, about 2-3 months ago, I was terribly disappointed with vBulletin 4. Yet, I didn't want to have one system for CMS / Blogs and another one for forums. I decided to try again, to see if I could make vBulletin work. I'm very happy! Part of my frustration was the learning curve. Another part was with the beta bugs. Now that the software is getting more solid, I'm impressed with the upgrade. Although, I do have some suggestions... Attachment 42612 The yellow dots indicate design issues that I see. You can visit http://guildwars.us to see my site. I think there should be a space, a line break, or perhaps a hyphen between the poster name and the published information. Oh sure, I could probably do this myself, but I don't want to touch any templates. I'm happy with the default template. This issue should be fixed at the source, because it's a readability issue. The same goes for the ellipse at the bottom. It seems to serve no purpose. There's already a "read more" link. If you think an ellipse should stay, then it shouldn't start with a new line. It should be at the end of the text like this... ...see how nice that is? And just in general, WHERE'S THE MOBILE SUPPORT?! There should be an included template for mobile devices. People view the web from their iPhones, Android devices and other gadgets. There's an archive mode. I think vBulletin should have better support for mobile devices by default. Although I suppose I could make my own mobile theme and sell it to the community, maybe make some extra money. Attached Images
