I updated from 3.8 something to 4.0.2. I did not realize I was updating the whole suite. I don't really have time to explore the CMS or blogs, is there some way to turn them off for now.
When I go to the web address for the forums, it takes me to the Home page, and it says I am not logged in. But I am , because when I then click on forums, I am logged in. Even if I log in on the home page and ask it to remember me, every time it again says I am not logged in. But if I click on Forum, and then go to Home page, I get something different where I would see articles if I had any. So why is that?
Is there some kind of manual? I am not particularly versed in HTML. All my theme colors got lost. All I want to do right now is change the vBulletin in the header back to the original forum name, I can worry about the "look" later. How do I do that? There is no style sheet that I can find that lets me just put in the link to the image that goes there as there was with the old one. There is not even a place to choose colors that I can find. Instead there are all these templates, and I never used them on the old forums, don't have time to study them now, don't have enough html knowledge, all I want to do now is change the header, what do I do?
This new thing is not easy to use. I just need something simple for now. Can I somehow just have the forum for now until I have time to figure out all the other stuff?
