Why would someone do this?

I have some people posting questions from yahoo answers or some other forums on my site. It is the precise question, completely copied. There is also someone who is responding to all of these whose IP is in China, but the IPs of the other accounts are mostly in Texas.

We have a good google ranking, would they be trying to take advantage of that somehow?
