| Lol, I got to say... after wining and complaining over the new vb4, after nearly thinking this board is toast because its not ready or capable ... hmmm... well I'm wrong and turning a new leaf. It is pretty sweet. Ya just got to know how to do it and see where its going. My final verdict... The old vB is lame compared to this but... you poor bastards that have to upgrade the ugly into this are having troubles, listen up... I'm assuming the old versions with patched code after code are having issues with the upgrade. I'm thinking its because of a few reasons. for those interested... the new version is sweet and going in the right direction IMHO. I'm thinking a lot of you upgrading, whom are having issues with getting it right, need to be sure your server is up to snuff, your paths and all that goes with doing a proper upgrade need to be sure everything including your ability is in place before you press go. My new vB4 is really clean and slick. Its all working well and I have to tell you I migrated a 400 meg nuke site over to this with near perfect results. I would like to say as of now, my new vB4 site is working real fine. Despite some bugs that I know will be resolved soon enough, its beautiful. Its not exactly what I expected but after a month of thinking it through, I see where they are going and I get it. I hope you all do to. this new CMS is looking pretty good. Good on you vB4. I'm pretty sure its full steam ahead for me with this software as of tonight. I love the open end blocks which allow me to insert code. After noticing the value of that ... ha ha... keep going in that direction. The ad system is great. the overall design is really nice. The fonts and layout look really nice. give me a little more control with the sidebars and I'm rocking! I'm very happy and felt like saying something really encouraging for the team here.
