Hi Guys*

i bought vB4 suite recently and have been playing around with it a bit...

well* the thing is i use "Question and Answer Verification" currently... i change it every now and then. but some how these genius spammers (did i just say genius?) still managed to second guess answer and registered and posted away...

and once they did get thru no matter what i changed the questions too they still registered and spammed the board...

finally i changed it and made it such that people had to answer 2 questions and image verification as well and that seemed to have taken care of my problem...

I know this sounds a little aggressive but with limited resources and above all limited time multiple type verification can only help specially in the coming times... i was wondering if this can be added to vB?

lately i noticed that there were post as old as 2-3 years (not to mention the more recent ones) which had spam links from people with just one post... interestingly instead of links words or phrases the spammer linked using smiley* .(dot)* *(comma) etc etc which is close to impossible to catch until you know what you are looking for.

as we all know/understand spammers usually post spam as soon as they are registered... and while there is a feature to disable "Allow Link BB Code" in signature of certain userproups...

can a feature be added under "Usergroup Manager" that will allow the admin to disable all kinds of links for certain usergroups?
