I am not sure how your civil rights are being violated. A business has rights of its own.

However about your license agreement being lived up to. We fully honor the terms of your 3.X license. You do not have to upgrade to the 4.0 license and can continue using the software under the terms of your 3.X license. This includes receiving updates and support under that license. You can even download and use vBulletin 4.0 under your 3.X license provided that your license is active and eligible for updates when it is released (under the terms of that license). When your 3.X license expires* you can still use the software indefinitely if you have an Owned License. If you have a leased license at that point* you must upgrade or delete the software. This we have maintained consistently.

If you wish to run your software under the 4.0 License* you can upgrade to it by purchasing the 4.0 software in either the Suite or Forum packages. However we are not forcing you to do so to continue using the software you have under the terms of your current license.

However* we are actually under no obligation to maintain the vBulletin 3.X license structure or the products associated with it indefinitely.

Everyone would have been able to view these "laws" concerning the 1st amendment* that have been passed by the supreme court concerning Internet identities* and the right to freedom of speech* but you went and deleted that post* which IS such a violation that I WILL be filing a public grievance for since you are so sure you are excused from these civil right guaranteed by our government* I hope you looked at the pdf created directly from that thread* and see it is digitally signed by me at the time* and could not have been edited in any way since the file type permissions were set as such* making it undeniable evidence of this violation.

As for your CONSTANT ignorance of the facts that YOU advised us all to make out purchases and a couple of weeks prior to that announcement* stating that the blog is no longer supported* is in itself your breaching the "terms of my current license" and for the record* my current license in the one I purchased under not the changed once since.* but you keep deleting those posts stating that FACT about license agreements too.

So two weeks before the announcement* despite KNOWING blog and p'tools were no longer supported and discontinued* you advised us not to wait to buy these.
Now you want me to pay $130.00 MORE over the $240.00 I paid those few weeks ago* to have a supported forums and blog....how is that in ANY way possibly construed as being able to stay updated and current for the one year period from date of license going in to force when you stated unequivocally many times in many posts and ticket responses that your "upper" management has decided they will not offer any refund after selling discontinued products* nor offer a credit towards the upgrade.
Well you know what? It's not my fault your company decided to combine the blog in the suite and not offer a comparable compatible product with 4.0 forums* for which if you are to honor the license i purchased* entitles me to 4.0 forums with no extra charge* there by making the blog a waste of money after YOUR advisement to NOT wait to see what the new release terms would be* OR I can stay with 3.8.4ever* and keep the blog for which neither* or at least blog will be supported for the year that my current license agreement states!

So stop repeating yourself and actually address the ENTIRE package I bought two weeks before this announcement* and honor my current license agreement in whole. but you cannot because as it stands now* there is no way for me to have a functional set of products I purchased and STILL be able to have the advantages owning my license was supposed to come with* that being life time use of products and one year of updates and upgrades* and support for those products* which contradicts what the announcement states where you are no longer supporting these products* let alone for a year and as soon as there is a change in PHP or MySQL will likely be buggy to the point of being rendered inoperable* so my only choice to have even just a working forum is to go to 4.0 but you offer no such compatible replacement product for blog* with out charging me $130 more dollars over the $240* I paid two weeks before this announcement!

No ethics integrity customer service or support for all that money!
and you CANNOT even guarantee that 3.8.4 will even work with out issue for the entire year* can you?
So how is it I am able to use these according to my license agreement??????

Go ahead and close this one too* or delete it* it is only more fodder for my for my evidence locker* since I will also have a locked pdf of this as well!

Bet his gets NO response from Steve!! Please observe how full of himself he is in his title* glorious beacon...more like Sirens beckoning ships to crash on the rocks!
