I wonder how you setup your office to communicate with your community. I see Steve here that much active and wonder* how this is possible. Some ideas where some of them I use myself:
Multi monitor setup where you for example have displayed on one monitor all posts from a user and on the other monitor the actual post. Or one monitor displayes New Posts and you open these posts on the other monitor.
Subscription folders. I wonder how they could be useful.
Show all New Posts from forums where I have the knowledge to answer them. Example: On a car forum you can have the regular discussion forums on this list where the technical discussion forums are not on the list. This way you only see New Posts where you can actually take action and answer them.
users have special profile fields enabled like "drive porsche car" they get a "this may be interesting for you as a porsche driver" pm
registered* wrote posts but were not active in the last time they get an "this happened in the last time and may be a reason for you to come back" pm (these 3 were only examples* there are hundreds of more possibilities)
I very appreciate your ideas and just tell me how your strategy is. A "I just answer post whenever I like them" answer is also fine and I'd like it to hear!
