| Hi, It is needed on my site now to reorganize the forums, because we need a better structure. Now it looks like this: ---------------------- Categorie : A Fruits etc Forum: A Apples Forum: B Beans Forum: C Forum: D Categorie : B Computers Forum: A Apple ;-) Forum: B MSX Forum: C Forum: D ---------------------- We want to dish the current categories [A Fruits] and [B Computers] and change the current forums (A Apples , B Beans and A Apple , B MSX) into categories, so it will look like this: ---------------------- Categorie : A Apples Forum: A Yellow Ones Forum: B Golden Delicious Forum: C Forum: D Categorie : B Beans Forum: A Brown Beans Forum: B White Beans Forum: C Forum: D Categorie : C Apple Forum: A MacIntosh Forum: B iPhone Forum: C Forum: D Categorie : D MSX Forum: A Philips Forum: B Sony Forum: C Forum: D ---------------------- Now, we need to move a lot of theads from the previous forums and divide them into the new forum structure. Question: but HOW to do that? I can assign all my moderators to all categories, so they can move things along. But how do we as a team know which Moderator has moved what? We can't work with pagenumbers (for example: Moderator 1 takes page 1-10, Moderator 2 takes page 11-20 and so on...) in forumdisplay, because when we are moving threads, the amount of pages will obviously change. So, I need advice from you as forumexperts what is the best way to handle this restructure of my forum and be able to move things in the easiest way possible? Thanks a lot! __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__  |
