Displaying message if trying to reply on a thread which is older than 1 year

Hi there,

I would like to prevent my lovely users from "digging out" old threads, so I tried out after a little bit research following conditional in template newreply

This thread is older than 1 year, do you really want to reply on it?
Please notice that digging out old threads is only allowed if there are
good reasons for it. Thanks!

That works fine in case the thread is older than 1 year and nobody has replied to it since this date. But... we have several very popular long-term threads which are older than 1 year and have hundreds of thousands, no billions of replies and if replying to these the above message also does show up. That's odd and annoying, so I need a better solution.

How can I achieve that the above message only shows up when the last post of the thread is older than 1 year? Thank you for your help in advance! __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
