Well I see that alot of changes have taken place since vbulletin was bought out by Internet Brands. Being along time vbulletin user since version 2 and have never had any issues.
However alot of customer myself included saw posted information lately on the future of vbulletin 4.0 and the restructing of pricing etc that was suppose to be private company only information. I am not going to condone what happened or how it got leaked but I would like some clarification here as a customer since obviously alot of us saw this information.
I know pricing does go up thats just a fact. However one thing that concerns me is the obvious disregard for long time customers that I read. From what I read any customer whom has version 3 will not be allowed to simply upgrade. We will have to purchase a whole brand new license fee of $195.00 to use vbulletin 4. Now not to beat a dead horse here but I would think considering your customer base and our opinions might have been an option before deciding something like this. I know for one if I have to purchase a brand new license then Invisionboard is looking that much better since there software has come along way to being a direct competitor with you and they do not follow the practice of charging customers for licenses over and over with each code branch which you seem to want to implement with 4.0
Please tell me this new model that affects us long time faithful users is not so!!
