Forum Thread status icon's not showing

I am trying to use a different set of status icons. I created a new style, generated by vBulletin. Nothing special. I created a folder in the file system for the new style. I downloaded all the current status icons and then uploaded them to a sub-directory of this new directory. As long as I leave the 'imgdir_statusicon' image path set to the default 'images/statusicon', everything is fine. But as soon as I switch it to the new path where I want to store the custom status icons, the status icons for the threads disappear. As far as I can see, all the other ones are just fine. I can change the icons in the Icon legend and forum status icon's just fine. It's seems to be just the thread status icons that disappear.

Any ideas? And I am a novice when it comes to reading and manipulating HTML code. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
