Hi vbulletin Members! I just puchased a vbulletin 5 license. I expect to have 20,000 members immediately after I launch this forum. I want to do everything possible to ensure the least amount of downtime. I'm looking at dedicated servers. What size server would be good for me to start at? How much RAM & Bandwidth do I need to handle potentially 20,000 people posting to a forum at once without crashing it? The server company handles migrations to bigger severs, but what's a good place to start knowing that 20,000 members will be active in this community by January 31st? A good example is the Warrior Forum. My forum will be at least that big by March. Also, there are server settings for the number of php requests. What is the optimal number for vbulletin with my intended community "size"? Any feedback you could give would be appreciated. Server companies have all told me to check here with vbulletin for the answer. I couldn't find an answer in the documentation. Thank You For Your Help ![]() Aloha, Brian Campbell __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__ |
