Hi folks. I set up a private forum for my old-time members. I set up a new user group that can access this new private forum and added this user group as a secondary user group to my long-time members. The problem is that vBulletin does not seem to be taking the permissions of the secondary user group into account and granting access to this new private forum to members who have been assigned that secondary group. I can't just change them all to this new user group as a primary user group, because doing so would interfere with other things.
So, is it possible to get vBulletin to check secondary user group forum permissions and act on those permissions? Is there a setting somewhere I am missing? I have been using this software for almost a decade and this is the first time in years I've run into a problem that stumped me. Any insight any of you can provide me would be much appreciated.
