Forum Creating my go live site is failing!

I have been working for some time to convert from IPB to VB. We have reached the point where our test site works well, but I named it as a test site, ie. /vb_test rather than something normal like /vb or /forums. I am trying to copy the test site to a production site, in this case /vb. I have made a copy of the database under a new db name, and I have copied all the files on the server to the new directory. I modified the config.php file to point to the new database.

When I go to the new site it comes up, but all links to forums, etc. point to the old site /vb_test. Why?

I can't log into the admincp in the new site, it just keeps going back to the login prompt. I edited the settings table in the database to adjust the cookie_path and bburl to the new folder. That had no effect either.


Do I need to do a full install in the new site folder, then copy over the database? __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
